Impeachment: Time to get into it, my opinions! (Post 3)

The following contains my personal opinions on the matters being discussed and by no means hold any intention to offend anyone or choose a side.

If I were to use a Likert Scale (0-5) in order to assign to the president's conduct over current trials, with 0 standing for perfectly unimpeachable by any measures and 5 being obviously impeachable, I would estimate my rating to be about 4. I am incredibly hesitant to actually assign a number for my thoughts on this, but I think it would fall almost in the middle. I can't exactly judge the president's conduct all on my own, however, I do not think he is downright guilty nor innocent. My rating does lean a little bit more towards impeachable since if there was absolutely no reason for him to be impeached, the trials would not be happening. The argument stands, there was evidence found for his accused soliciting Ukraine help among a few following sub reasons, which is why my rating is a little closer to impeachable.

In the assumption that President Trump is indeed acquitted, I think the history books might have a major update. The event would most certainly go down in history, he would be only the third president in history to ever be impeached. His reasoning for being acquitted would differ from both Johnson and Clinton, but he would still fall into that very rare category. Now, the history books will recount the events as focusing purely on his mistakes and the way he failed to do something, basically only mentioning the reasons and actions of what led up to him being finally impeached... It's a little sad, because he has actually managed to contribute a few useful things at least. It was because of my research I began to form more questions and to answer them as well, which I find most enjoyable. It feels like a sort of puzzle you make and solve in your own head - a rubrik's cube.

Research can easily help anyone to better understand their facts or what exactly is going on, even if they have formed an opinion that is set in stone for them. Research is also what empowers another to be able to understand a subject, it gives a power of knowledge to be able to question a subject further and even to form different views on the subject. Such as impeachment, I knew nothing about the whole ordeal before the research and began the whole project blind, but after delving in deep and starting to ask questions, the research helped to not only answer them all but make me feel as if I understand and can participate in conversations of current events. Even better? If it goes down in history, this impeachment that is, then I will be able to say I was alive and followed along with the event as it happened! Without research, we would rely on what knowledge we learn first hand or from the opinions of others. It would likely be full of much more bias than researching a subject for oneself.
